Find Out About Greyhound Welfare at Doncaster

Doncaster Greyhound Stadium is committed to maintaining the very highest standards of welfare for the greyhounds that race at our track. You can rest assure that the dogs who provide such scintillating entertainment at our venue are well treated at all times. Read our welfare policy to find out more or call us today.
Here at the Stadium the safety of the greyhounds has always been of vital importance.

That is why from November 1999 Barbara Tompkins, June Hickman, Tony Branch and Eileen Doxey together with many of the trainers at the Stadium decided to set up a Retired Greyhound Fund. Money is raised by running raffles and some donations come from the adoptive owners. This is now run by Janine Moody. The funds are used to help Trainers keep the greyhound until a suitable home is found.
If you would like further information with regards to fund raising or adopting a retired greyhound, then please contact us.

Remember, retired greyhounds make excellent companions and are a wonderful addition to almost any family.

If you have room in your life for a retired greyhound, you can contact Janine Moody on 07885 443 425.
